Private Spend Mode lets you keep your spending private.
When Private Spend Mode is on, your Privacy Card transactions will appear as “PWP*Privacy.com” on your funding source statement or portal without showing the actual merchant name.
To turn Private Spend Mode on, go to your Account page, look for Funding Sources, and toggle Include merchant information off.

A note for Visa debit card users: If your funding source is a Visa debit card, Privacy automatically processes your charges as Grouped Payments—your transactions from a 24-hour period are combined into a single charge on your statement (e.g., PWP*Privacy 2026-03-19), which already masks individual merchant names.
