To confirm your debit card, you’ll need to locate a small “micro-authorization” on your funding source statement. Once you find it, confirm the number from the “Account” page on a web or mobile browser or by tapping the gear icon at the top right of your screen from the Privacy mobile app.
When attempting to locate the “micro-authorization,” it's possible that some banks won't automatically show this type of transaction, as it's only an authorization hold for the funds, rather than your account being fully debited.
Look for a transaction with the descriptor PWP* or Privacy.com. If you're not currently seeing it on your funding source statement, we recommend contacting your bank and having them assist you in finding it.
If they're unable to locate it, removing and re-adding the debit card using the same method as before would refresh the hold, which could make it easier for them to find.
