When connecting a funding source to Privacy using your bank account, you may have noticed some branding associated with a company called Plaid. Plaid is a third party we partner with to offer fast and secure funding source connections to Privacy Accounts.

What if I don’t want to use Plaid with my Privacy Account?
When you log in via the portal provided by your bank, the bank provides a token that allows us to transact on your account when you make purchases using one of your Privacy Cards.
Privacy doesn’t obtain or store your login credentials on our servers, and you can change it anytime without interfering with your use of our service.
If you’d prefer not to use Plaid, you may be able to connect your debit card as a funding source instead. Debit card funding doesn’t involve Plaid. To find out more information about connecting a debit card to your Privacy Account, visit our Help Center article here.
