If when trying to create a Privacy Card, you receive an error that your bank connection is “out of date,” it means our connection with your funding source has expired. This causes us to have outdated balance information, which could lead to unnecessary declines or issues with future transactions.
To fix this, log in to your Privacy Account and navigate to "Account" from your Privacy Dashboard in a web browser (or tap the gear icon at the top right of your screen in the Privacy mobile app) and remove your funding source by clicking the three dots next to your bank name (or by tapping the bank name the Privacy mobile app) and selecting “Delete.”
Then choose "Add Funding Source" and follow the steps to re-attach the same funding source.
NOTE: This will not affect any transactions or refunds in progress
