When trying to create a Privacy Card, you may receive an error that your bank connection is "out of date." This means our connection with your funding source has expired, which causes us to have outdated balance information. This can lead to unnecessary declines.
How do I fix this?
Web or mobile browser
To resolve this, head to Account from your Privacy Dashboard using a web or mobile browser and click the three dots next to your bank name.
Then select Refresh and reenter your bank login credentials.
If you're using the Privacy mobile app, tap the gear icon at the top right of your screen and remove your funding source by tapping the bank name and selecting Delete. Then press Add and follow the steps to re-attach the same funding source.
Completing this step will not affect any transactions or refunds in progress.
