All refunds will go directly to the original funding source used for your purchases regardless if the Privacy Card you used is paused or closed.
Does Privacy offer provisional credit?
If you dispute a transaction via Privacy and we file a chargeback against the merchant on your behalf, you might be eligible for a provisional credit while we complete our investigation.
It may take up to 90 days to resolve your dispute, and you will have full use of the funds during the investigation.
How long do refunds and provisional credits take to show up on my bank account?
Refunds or provisional credits appear in your connected funding source 3-5 business days from the time the merchant or Privacy initiates the refund, depending on the speed of your bank.
It's been 5 business days and I still don't see my refund! What should I do?
If a merchant issued the refund, please contact them again to confirm that the refund has been sent out.
If Privacy issued the refund or provisional credit, please make sure to check the original funding source used for the purchase.
