First off - in case you were concerned at all, this is real! We detected potentially unauthorized activity on one of your cards and wanted to alert you through a Security Check. Here’s how this works:
Our system determined the attempted transaction may not have be authorized by you. For your security, we declined it and sent you a message so you could confirm whether or not this was the case. From here, you can respond in 1 of 3 ways:
If you reply NO to a Security Check, future attempted transactions of this type on this card will be declined. We also recommend pausing or closing the card for additional security.
If you reply YES to a Security Check, you can now retry the transaction and it will be approved.
If you don’t reply at all, it will continue being declined.
