How do refunds work?
A refund will go directly back to the funding source used for a purchase regardless if the Privacy Card you used is paused or closed.
How are refunds displayed?
Refunded transactions will be displayed with a “Refunded” tag on your Transactions list.
How long do refunds take?
Usually, refunds appear in your account 1-3 business days from the time the merchant initiates the refund depending on the speed of your bank.
My refund was declined, why?
Your refund may have been declined due to a processing delay. Typically when this happens, the merchant will follow up in 1-2 business days and pass the refund through for approval.
If you don't receive a notice that your refund is being processed after 1-2 business days have passed, please reach out to the merchant for more information. If the merchant is unable to assist, we recommend filing a dispute for the original transaction on your Privacy Account.
