What are tags?
Tags are designed to help you sort your Privacy Virtual Cards. You can create your own tags and assign them to cards as you see fit. Once you’ve assigned a tag to some cards, you can start using tags to search cards.
What would I use card tagging for?
Great question! Let's say you pay your utility bills through Privacy. You can tag each of your Privacy Virtual Cards for Gas, Internet, and Water as "Utilities." When you search your tags for "Utilities," all but these three Cards will be filtered out, so you can access them more easily.
You might also find it helpful to create tags for “Travel,” “Shopping,” “Pets,” or “Subscriptions.”
How does card tagging work?
Select the “Tags” button on the upper right-hand corner of your Cards view to create, search, or select tags. Clicking on a tag from the dropdown menu will filter out all cards aside from the card with this tag.
How can I add a tag to a card?
To add a tag to a card, select the “…” from the card you’d like to tag.
From there, you can create new tags or search existing tags.
How can I view my tags?
By default, tags are hidden from your Cards view. To unhide tags, navigate to the “View” button on the upper right-hand corner of the page. Then, select “Show Tags” from the dropdown.
To hide your tags, follow the same steps but instead select “Hide Tags.”
How do I remove a tag from a Privacy Virtual Card?
To remove a tag from a Privacy Virtual Card, select the “…” from the card you’d like to edit. Then, select the “Tag” option. Hover over the tag you’d like to remove, and click the pencil icon that appears to its right.
You’ll then be prompted with a window that allows you to either edit or delete your tag. To delete your tag, click the trash icon in the bottom right corner of the window.
